In addition to two monthly print magazines, The Insurance and Investment Journal and the Journal de l’assurance, The Insurance and Investment Journal Publishing Group covers the industry’s daily news through its web sites that are updated several times per day.
The Group also publishes FlashFinance.ca, a French-language weekly electronic news bulletin aimed at insurance company leaders, insurance firm owners, brokerage managers, and financial advisors.
The company also offers InsuranceINTEL, a product and market intelligence centre for the life insurance industry. This service enables insurance companies, banks, managing general agencies and financial advisors to compare more than 400 insurance products and create customized, up-to-date comparative tables. InsuranceINTEL presently has more about 7,000 subscribers.
Furthermore, the Group’s publication for Quebec’s property and casualty insurance industry, the Répertoire des services en assurance de dommages, provides an excellent overview of the product and services offered by professionals in the P&C industry.
The Insurance and Investment Journal Group holds three not-to-be-missed industry events. Each year, in November, at Montreal’s Palais des congrès, The Insurance and Investment Convention brings together more than 1,300 participants, more than 30 speakers and 65 exhibitors.
Held in March, the Journée de l’assurance de dommages (P&C Day) is an event that offers conference sessions on various issues impacting the property and casualty industry and offers a unique opportunity for attendees to enhance their expertise and network with industry contacts. This event brings together some 900 participants, 30 speakers and 65 exhibitors.
In May, in Toronto, the Canada Sales Congress, a conference focused on sales and business development, brings together approximately 1,200 participants, 20 speakers and about 60 exhibitors.
