It has been on YouTube since 2011 and on LinkedIn since 2012, and now SSQ is planning to launch its own Facebook page in the spring of 2016. It is part of the insurer’s efforts to generate relevant content that will help it interact with its customers.
“It was not a priority initially,” says SSQ’s media relations manager Danielle Rioux. “Since the arrival of Jean-François Chalifoux, our new CEO, things have changed somewhat. The company’s desire to have more a presence with clients motivated this launch. With the arrival of a new president, the project of developing a dialogue with our customers took shape.”
However, SSQ says there are no immediate plans for a Twitter page.
